Daichi Shuzo, founded in 1885 in Saiki, was carried forward in 2019 through a business succession that moved the kura to Kamiura — preserving Saiki's sake and shochu culture. Its Hanaemi, brewed from rice and koji alone, is named for the wish of a smile blooming like a flower.
