Onna Shuzosho was founded in 1949 by ten village investors and remains Onna's only distillery. Its Manza is named for the Manzamo cape nearby and the wish to be loved by all — fitting, since more than half its production is drunk in the village itself. The house also supports local coral reef conservation.
