Satsuma Kinzan Kura, part of the Hamada Shuzo group, is the only shochu kura in Kagoshima that ferments, stores and matures inside mine tunnels — the workings of the old Kushikino gold mine. Its Kinzangura is brewed with golden koji. The tunnel brewing halls are open to visitors on weekends and holidays.
