Tsunematsu Shuzo Honten, founded in 1917 in Taragi, brews with natural water rising from a hundred metres underground and Hinohikari rice it grows in the paddies surrounding the kura. It finishes without machine filtration, by hand — its Kuma Ken takes the name of the valley's famous drinking hand-game.
