Gotonada Shuzo, founded in 2007 in Shin-Kamigoto, is the only imo shochu kura in Nagasaki Prefecture. Its banner is noujo-goitsu — farming and brewing as one: 100% of its sweet potatoes are grown on Kamigoto, on its own farm and by contract growers, in a circular system that even revives heirloom varieties like the native Kinboke.
