Ikoma Kogen Shuzo was established in 1998 when Akashi Shuzo carried on the licence of Ebihara Shuzo. Its shochu is produced at Akashi's works, led by a signature quirk: a 22-degree strength, deliberately between the standard 20 and 25, in service of local tourism and farming.
